KSSP- Primary High 5 Netball Competition |
Monday 15th March
This evening, Six Kingston primary schools played off in a round robin tournament to claim the top 2 places at South London Final next week. As the sun shone, perfect netball conditions enabled pupils to play a brilliant standard of High 5 netball. Each team played 5 matches, with players rotating at half time and full time, giving them plenty of positional experience!
Whilst some teams were happy to be taking part others fought hard to stay in the top 3 throughout. With Malden Manor, Lovelace and St Agatha's all competing for the prestigious 1st place. It came down to the final round between St Ag's and Lovelace as the decider for 1st & 2nd place, both knowing at this stage they were through to the Finals.
After a close first half - it was St Agatha's who pulled away winning 4 - 0!! St Ags only conceded 1 goal during the tournament - well done to all their defenders!
A great achievement for both teams who will know progress to the next level - South London Final on Wednesday 25th March.
Well done to everyone who took part and a big thank you once again to Ellie, Emma, Hannah, Sahana, Laura, Sabbie, Lauren, Alex and Erin for umpiring and scoring!
